I picked this up last year when it was on sale , upgrading from a small but nice older Boston Acoustic center channel. I've got some old Reference towers that sound great, and this finally brings the whole front end together.

IT IS MASSIVE. Over two feet wide, over a foot deep, thiccccccc and HEAVY. I built a floating cantilevered stand to hoist it over the TV without sticking massive supports in the wall.

Do you have a center speaker that seems a little anemic? Distorts at certain frequencies? Just isn't the beefcake you'd like it to be? If any of those things ring true, grab this puppy, as it's a steal and sounds incredible.

Can anyone tell me the key differences between these and other Klipsch centers? How much better are these than the lowest tier of Klipsch? And similarly, how much of an improvement I can expect with RP lineup in comparison to this?

RF82ii + RC62ii for 400 + 147 shipped! Today was a good day.

It's rare Fry's ships these deals to the east coast. Had to jump on it.

Which Klipsch would be a step up from this? How much more would I have to pay for a significant step up? I'm thinking about getting this to replace my Andrew Jones center. I don't know much about speakers so any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The Rc-64 is the next step up. It'll set you back $1,000.

RC64ii is the next step up in this line. It's around $1000 on eBay sometimes a little cheaper. I got the rc62ii and the rf82ii's from frys in a very similar deal two years ago and for mainly HT they sound very good.

Thanks for chiming in. I can't afford the 64s, but I wonder if the difference is something most ppl will notice?

The best bang for buck out there!

Love my set up.
