Isn't this cheaper?

Google USB-C Charging Rapidly Charger for 2nd & 3rd Gen Pixel devices (18W 3A Charger + 10 Foot USB-C, C-C Cable) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079MGG...5CbHY12HS9
That looks like a generic one, instead of a Google one in the posted deal

The Amazon link is sold from Amazon, not a 3rd party. Do you think Amazon itself sells counterfeits?
Yes. They have no idea. Believe I got one. Amazon sells tons of counterfeit electronics

Geez.... 42% 1 star on Amazon for this. Many are indicating the ones sold on Amazon are knock-offs.

Better off spending a little more dough and getting the tiny Anker PD Atom which uses the newest GaN technology. Provides up to 30W of power and many are using this tiny charger to power their 12" MacBooks.

Specs:
Total output wattage: 30W
Input: 100–240V ~ 1.2A 50–60Hz
Power delivery output: 5V = 3A / 9V = 3A / 15V = 2A / 20V = 1.5A
Size: 1.61 inches x 1.37 inches x 1.49 inches
Weight: 2.2 ounces

In case anyone is curious, this is the same output as the Apple version included with the 3rd Generation iPad Pros. It also terminates into the charging block as USB-C, so you could theoretically buy a USB-C to Lightning cable and get fast charging for compatible iPhones.

Also of note, is that I've been using the same USB-C charger that was included with my Pixel 2XL for all USB-C needs for smaller devices, and it has performed fantastic. Just make sure you get a genuine unit. I'd personally snag from Walmart vs Amazon, as I've received fake/counterfeit goods from Amazon in the past - yes, Sold by Amazon items.

I ordered this for the same price on Amazon a month ago. Mine wasn't a knockoff, it came in retail google packaging that looked more expensive than the charger.

Fantastic charger, worth getting as a backup. If you're having issues with yours, I'd first recommend contacting Google support and having them send you a replacement. The one I got with my Pixel 2XL stopped working with the phone for some reason (but still charged other devices). They replaced it for free, haven't had any problems since.
Facing same issues here, how did you get it replaced? (Who should I contact)
Thanks

Yes, there have been issues with various products in the past (sd cards, board games). I prefer B&M for SD cards since pictures are priceless.

I picked up these 18w chargers from Walmart last time. Great deal for a safe cable and charger. My current phone can use a 27W charger, but the time that it draws 27w is so little that there is barely any difference in overall charging speed.

Mine started dropping in and out last week. Have NEVER had an issue with a USB - C thus far. Excited for the pixel class action.
Wierd. I've had two Pixel 2XLs and 2 Pixel 3XLs and (wife and I), and we've used the original charger on both of them with no issues. What exactly is breaking so I can watch out for it?
