Not a great deal as this item has been sold for a lot cheaper, in the 60-70 buck range.

You are basically paying for the cleaner else its in line with the other deals.

The combo has been that price? Or just the cleaner? I actually have a need for the surface cleaner attachment, but if the combo has been that cheap I'll hold off.

The Surface Cleaner as stated by the OP is about $30-$35 bucks and is evident by HD here for $32.98:

The Pressure Washer has been on sale for 65-70 so my point was that this inst a great deal you are getting a combo but essentially paying for the parts anyways.

Say the deal was $70 with the Free Cleaner then yea it would be a Hot Deal!

The last time this no-frill pressure washer (RY141612, 1.2gal 1600psi, no steel cage or built-in soap dispenser) sold for $65 was during 2017 BF (it was $70 on 5/28/2017 as deal of the day and 6/20-7/5/2017 (Independence Day).

HD discounted a newer model, the RY141812G (1.2 / 1800 / caged) for $89 during 2018: Jun, Nov Dec.

Ryobi came out with the updated RY1418MT (1.2 / 1800 / caged, wheeled with telescoping handle like a travel luggage) this year which sold for $109 recently as deal of the day. Being a new model, future sale price will likely be lower.

So this combo for $99 is a pretty good deal if you need/want a surface cleaner but not the fancier and costlier models.

Also, Ryobi (and Greenworks) electric pressure washers use the standard 1/4" quick connect fitting for the spray tips and surface cleaner. The (circa 2017~2019, now discontinued) $25 Ryobi RY31094 12" surface cleaner was just released and OOS everywhere back then so I snatched the Greenworks 11" surface cleaner [amazon.com] instead from Amazon Deal of the Day for $18. It works without issue with my Ryobi RY141600 (an even older model than the Ryobi washers above, but uses the same 1/4" QC). I have not used any Ryobi surface cleaner so I can't compare performance.

From my 2017 research, older Karcher (German brand, models K2~K5), AR Blue (Italian) and Sun Joe (SPX1xxx, 2xxx, 6xxx) use their own proprietary connection for tips and surface cleaners (bayonet style and pricey for Karcher, a different bayonet for Sun Joe but the surface cleaner is only $15 [amazon.com]). Many of their newer models (Karcher K1700~K2000, Sun Joe SPX3xxx and 4xxx) have switched to different connections, possibly 1/4" QC but I am not 100% sure. My research ended after buying the Ryobi.

It is really annoying to use 10" or 11" surface cleaner. I was hoping for good sale on 15"

Thanks for comments. The Ryobi surface cleaner part never goes on sale by very much AFAIK.

The next closest alternative we could find was the Karcher K1700/1710 on sale at $100 - but not including the $40 surface cleaner - and many reviews say it also requires an extra extension wand to be usable - so more like $150-160. That's 50% more expensive.

Also FWIW - there are a lot of reports of surface cleaners failing after a short time (all brands) - Buying a la carte most even don't mention warranty - but this Ryobi bundle advertises a 3 year warranty which might be the only way to get a longer warranty on the surface cleaner part.

It is unfortunate that bundled surface cleaner is only 12" - but it's the only compatible Ryobi brand one. Bigger sizes require bigger motors - at higher cost.
