Apparently?

Edit: Apparently they're already out. Off to do some Googling, read some articles, and watch some videos.
You lose the 4gb of on board storage. Don't see much of an improvement otherwise outside of the selling price. Shame because the on board storage was the main reason for buying them.

If you looking for a decent quality earbud, try this. It has grade A on fakespot. Don't be fooled by anker promotions. https://www.amazon.com/TOZO-Bluet...T1Y1G37FS1
well, after 2 days with these, they're going back. BT connection drops when phone goes in my pocket, and the left ear bud constantly disconnects. hopefully the replacement pair has better luck.

50 bucks no apt-x, not impressive, the mp0ws t5's linked do at the same price.

Funny, I just don't like the open air type buds. I seem to be more immersed in what I'm doing when I tune out the outside world. It'll be interesting to see what Pamu does with their upcoming Slide [indiegogo.com]. I just can't get passed the giant ass case. I don't need nor want my case to charge the world. I don't even care about wireless charging if it adds bulk. I just want a slim pocketable charging case so they are always easy to carry. With buds getting over 5hrs of use per charge, I'm happy with 2-3x the amount in the case. Think the T5's are supposed to get up to 7hrs. Havent tested that, but they haven't left me hanging yet.
Ah, I generally like open earphones for exactly that reason, it tends to be safer, and air circulation is better for your ears.

Still have to wait a bit for the airpod clones, the "perfect" copy is still priced at a premium.

Pamu slide, we shall see, but vague on price and codec support. Large case battery is good if it has high capacity so it will take longer for the battery to degrade.

So yea T5's still seem like the best budget option so far.

I saw these on alibaba [alibaba.com]. They'd be up your alley. No one on aliexpress branding them and selling them yet. Qualcomm w/aptx, Usb-c charging and a somewhat unique case for airpod clones.

Ah interesting, 8 hours seems like a stretch of a claim though. Will need to verify, otherwise, decent price.
