I have several of these $50 range true wireless and the latest batches of them mostly stay connected without any issues. I have the anker soundcore liberty neo and some others. I use them to listen to books on tape. In my experience, none of them are for audiophile type music experience. They are fine for my uses but I am not that picky when I am working out or walking the dogs

They offered a 20% code for me. Can't hurt to try it. MAYSAVE19 <- 20% off. With tax these are costing me $39.14.

I got these last deal from amazon, definitely an upgrade from wired bluetooth headphones

Pros:

Cheap
They auto turn on and connect once you remove them from the box, turn off automatically when you put them back in.
Good charge / listen time.
Comfortable and stay in the ear. Had issues with my wired ones where they'd fall out when I ran. These don't wiggle, and I almost forget they're in at times.
Waterproofish (don't submerge them). But they should be sweat/rain proof. Saw someone has used them in the shower as well. IPX 5
Multiple rubber buds and wingtips so you have options to fit your ear.
Audio quality is OK, nothing to write home about but not tinny or anything

Cons:

These are button based, so pushing them to pause, skip track, answer a call is a little uncomfortable since you push it into your ear. You can grip it then push but its just slightly awkward.
No volume control
Call quality is meh

Do you recommend these for working out? I'm done with buying the $5-$10 corded BT tooth ones. They either die or one side dies and it like what's the point.

You should try the, I believe its called, Sound True Free Wireless+ Earbuds. I was also done with wired Bluetooth and non-BT earphones cause of like sweat and tangling from the gym.

The ones I mentioned are like $30, have a case that charges the buds when you're done, and automatically connect and disconnect when you remove or put them back in the case. You can also share one earbud with a partner when watching something. I don't know how much better these are but I would recommend looking at the ones I mentioned.

I like them better than the sound peats. But it might be ear shape - I couldn't get the sound peats to fit me well regardless of the tip I put on them.

They have been fine thus far for my purposes -but I have only used them for walking outdoors or indoor at gym - I haven't tried them outside in humidity+sweat yet.

In terms of other stuff like sound, battery, connectivity are they both about the same?

The sound peats cut out some for me -so I would be walking along and one ear bud would cut out for a couple of seconds and it hasn't happened with the anker ones that I have noticed. I think the sound is a little better with the ankers but that may be due to fit. Battery has been close to the same for me with them - but I don't use them more than a couple of hours at a time.
