While I admit Pelican seems to make some of the best cases around, they're not cheap. My company has started using Seahorse cases instead. I've been impressed with them.

Not exactly cheap neither but Seahorse make a good case for a little less than a Pelican, although this deal right now is far better than buying the comparable size Seahorse case.

This seems like a really good price for the Storm version of the 1510. I'd go padded dividers. For something that seems like it would be really easy to make for cheap in China, they're really expensive.

If you want foam, the only thing I can think of cheaper than a Pelican at this price would be the Apache case from harbor freight for about $90 (though coupons routinely knock that down a bit). The Apache is fine, but I'd do the extra $10 for the Pelican in a heartbeat.

Honest question, how smell proof are these things when it comes to weed? Im looking for a larger smellproof case for my glass and flower.
i use a small pelican for that and it works great also water proof. i dont think it will fool trained dogs but fools people.

Would the foam inside this one fit well within a 1535? I use a 1535 but need replacement plucking foam. I have the top and bottom sections, so just need the squares.

Has anyone compared these to the apache mentioned from HF? Is there a significant difference in quality?
