IMO...average sub...my 12in JBL 260P blows this out of the water for $150 (refurb).

IMO...average sub...my 12in JBL 260P blows this out of the water for $150 (refurb).
Agreed, overpriced based on overall performance. Might be solid for music only at this price, but super weak for movies. In my experience, the ML subs are pretty accurate and ok for music, but extremely disappointing for movies and gaming, especially weak on low hz impacts. Either of the 2 jbl 10" refurb subs that were here on sd this past week are both better values at lower prices.

Is this based on specs or have you heard and/or seen a review of both? I ask because the Infinity R12 sub is currently on sale for 170 (not refurb) and it looks to be very similar to the jbl 260p.
