I know to mix Bifen XTS the same strength as Ortho Home Defense, it's 1/3rd oz to gallon. I use half an once.

If this makes up to 42 gallons, that's about 3/4th oz per gallon. Can't remember what the % is in Bifen but you can probably find it online. I wanna say it's like 27%.

Spoken like a man that has never had a yellow jacket or Africanized bee infestation. That sentiment is fine and dandy in a controlled environment but out in the real world the damn things can literately kill you.

The point of Bifen is that you can mix it to a more appropriate strength when needed. Ortho Home defense is kind of weak and doesn't work that well. With Bifen one ounce to the gallon is recommended for most applications and will give you a more effective product than diluting it down to the Home Defense concentration which doesn't work all that well. I gave up on Home Defense and switched to Bifen for just that reason
