I have been using SD for many years, but this is my first time posting a deal. Please have mercy on my poor soul if I did anything incorrectly. This seems like a pretty slick deal to me on these well reviewed mechanical keyboards.

All three have Outemu Blue switches. The KM-G6 is back-lit with 9 different pre-programmed lighting effects while the KM-G3 RGB features highly customizable back-lighting and a more sleek design with a brushed aluminium panel. See product pages for more details.

Make sure to use the correct discount code for each keyboard.

Aukey KM-G9 87-Key Mechanical Keyboard $20.99 ($7.00 discount)

I have the 87 key version and never realized how bad this keyboard lagged. I tried playing Diablo 3 with it, then switched over to my 10 year old G13 and the difference was night and day. There's a noticeable delay on the Aukey, so if you're buying it solely for typing you'll never notice it, but if you intend to game on it buy something else.

keyboards are nice except blue switches. SUPER loud and clicky. I'd recommend getting some browns or reds for a softer sound

Which keyboard would you recommend for normal daily driver and not for gaming?

Can the color of the LED be change?
On the RGB board it can. That's essentially the meaning of RGB. You can make the LEDs different colors based on RGB values. Some boards are super customizable, and others just have some pre-sets. I'd check out the product description for more info.

This keyboard works great but for general use boy is it loud AF!
I love my keyboard with Cherry Blues, but the O-ring mod is a must. Clicky feel without being absurdly loud (and they're still not exactly silent).

I've been looking to move to a keyboard with LED or RGB... not sure if it's worth it to go with Outemu switches and I wish they'd stop using "gamer" fonts on these things. These prices are great though.

To anyone who doesn't have a mechanical keyboard yet, you absolutely should get one of these. It's so much nicer to type on than a standard keyboard, and at $20 you don't have much to lose.

beware the click is very annoying and nothing like a real cherry mx, I have the keyboard just laying in my closet now. the click is loudest when you let go of the key and sounds irritating.

How outemu perform compared with Cherry MX switches?
I have a Velocifire with brown Outemu switches and I like them a lot, to the point that I prefer them over the Cherry MX browns. Prices are about the same as these Aukeys. Just personal preference, but brown > blue.

Genuine blues need more force to actuate and are mechanically louder, with deeper sound. There's a coarseness to it.

Outemu blues are lighter, and sound crisp. The difference is huge they're entirely different to me. These knockoffs are closer to Razer green , not Cherry Blue, although I'd advise against buying Razer products - high failure and bad RMA - used to love Razer.

I have quite a few mech keyboards. Cherry Brown is my favorite, overall the best IMO.
Great info. I highly suggest people test and find which they prefer. I don't really like Brown myself, but had I not know and read your comment, that's what I would have purchased.

It's purely subjective and I lean towards Cherry MX Silver, but will be fine with red.

FWIW - go to a Micro Center or somewhere with a bunch of keyboards and test them out. Amazon also has cheap kits you can buy to compare the difference.

Ok for regular typing not for gaming due on delay response.

Ihave similar from m p o w last kub deal posted in the past.

Curious why m p w already banned in sd heheh. Not realizing due on getting warning msg from the mod...

Haha. I bough two Outemu blue keyboard in the pasr. One is 87 keys and full rfgb keyboard.
Was $20 and $40.
Basically they are the some mostly just rebranded form chinese of chinese keyboard.

My suggestion:
If you need a keyboard. Get a sample keyboard key and try yourself. Being cheap does not mean is ok
I spent more money actually ,not saving 🙂
