Great, after I bought 3 Kohler toilets for the new place I got and replaced all the toilets with Kohler brand.

Which do you recommend? Have to buy 1 more for a basement remodel

You need to get with the time. I need a toilet with USB ports.
Or a cereal port.

So, what's a good toilet for reasonable price?? We have a Kohler now that's leaking. I think it's the gasket underneath the flushing mechanism but not sure. Toilet is maybe 5 years old. Would like to replace it but not spend a fortune for replacement.
Why not repair? 5 years isn't old enough to replace. Buy a repair kit and replace faulty parts. Easier than you might think. I did that last year to my Cimarron which was purchased about 7 years before that.

I think we just need to replace the seal under the plunger. PITA because we have to turn off water to the house. Valve for toilet is too old to open and close.

What's a comparable toilet to the Toto Drake when I only care about 2 things:

1) Reliability, I don't want anything to break or leak.
2) Easy to clean.
Go back to Toto. I have 2 Drakes and a Kohler. The Kohler already have multiple issues after 3 years. Toto keep on flushing as before.

Aren't you comparing Rolls Royce to Chevrolet??? Toto toilets are expensive.

I have the Champion 4 and if I don't push the lever down just the right way, water keeps running in the toilet. Called AS and they didn't have a fix. Any idea? Otherwise it's pretty powerful.

I bought my 3 years ago and they were about 20 bucks more than the Kohler. You can buy a Drake for 200 bucks if you shop around.

You should try a Toto. We recently had the bathroom renovated and picked the Toto Entrada which is their lower end model t
hat doesn't use much water due to new government regulations. Oh man, the thing is small but mighty. It's a little loud but o brand. So yeah, it's not all about the GPF number.

The ring under the tower? Because of hard water I've had to replace that a few times. I don't even shut off the water, so quick to do, I bet I waste less than 5 gallons doing it with the water running.

I own two of these. Installed myself 2 years ago. Very reliable and comfortable for the size. Also got a rebate from california, not sure if they are still being offered. Would recommend.
