I own two of these. Installed myself 2 years ago. Very reliable and comfortable for the size. Also got a rebate from california, not sure if they are still being offered. Would recommend.
Same. Have two Kohler cimarron elongated chair heights I install last year and the year before and I like them.

These are good toilets... we remodeled 3 bathrooms in 2015 and used these - no problems at all! We built this year and put them in all 5 bathrooms.

I'd recommend.

They're the shi+.

The ring under the tower? Because of hard water I've had to replace that a few times. I don't even shut off the water, so quick to do, I bet I waste less than 5 gallons doing it with the water running.
Yes, the ring under the tower is what I am talking about. We have very, very hard water. Same thing happened with the old flapper toilets. They were always leaking because the flapper did not seat properly due to lime deposits on the flapper and the seal.

This is the absolute worst toilet. I actually threw mine out it was so bad.. The flush is weak, doesn't clean the bowl during the flush, and is it clogs.

Might have to install a garbage disposal at the bottom or get a good poop axe
You mean a poop knife? Perfectly normal.

Toto Toilets are the best! We just ordered 3 Toto toilets today for our remodel. 2 x Ultramax II and 1 x Vespin II. They aren't cheap, but well worth it.

Go back to Toto. I have 2 Drakes and a Kohler. The Kohler already have multiple issues after 3 years. Toto keep on flushing as before.

I have the AS Optum Voramx for a while now and love they way it flushes. Keeps the bowl nice and clean and was a bit cheaper than the Drake2. It does have a dual flush mechanism but seems simple enough to not have any major reliability issues.
Thank you both. We recently had two toilets crap out on us, one developed a leak between toilet and bowl. The second the handle is connected to the flapper with PLASTIC which of course broke, cheap POS builders quality POS POS POS.

I just want rock solid reliable and easy to clean, is that so much to ask?

Awesome.

Yes, some municipalities are still offering rebates to its residents. My OP has links to the rebate information.

I got 3 Toto toilets as well. I went with the Toto Nexus 1G, 1 gpf. They look awesome and work great. I figure a toilet isn't something you replace everyday so may as well spend some coin and get what you really want.
