Flashpoint (Godox) AD400 Pro Kit w/C-Stand, Softbox, and Hat

This deal was originally posted at the ridiculous price of $599.01, but that price has expired. However, for $649.01, you can still order this package that includes the Flashpoint (same as Godox) AD400 Pro, a $120 c-stand, $90 softbox, and a free ball cap, all for the price of the AD400 Pro alone, which is still a great bundle deal if you are in the market for an AD400 Pro.

Thanks to toyanucci for pointing out that this same deal is on their Amazon store front, allowing an additional 5% discount to Prime card holders. I am changing the primary link to the Amazon store front, to help with visibility.

Swag is swag... But, for real, the light alone is running $649 on B&H and Amazon, and they have a similar kit (MINUS THE HAT!!!) for $893, which they list as a $159 savings... This is a no-brainer price for somebody who was looking to get a high-speed-sync (HSS) flash with a stand and modifier all-in-one kit for less than the price of the flash by itself everywhere else.

I've been wanting this light for a long time now, but never wanted to pull the trigger BECAUSE of the extra's I'd need to go along with it.

This was enough to make me pull the trigger, can't wait to get and try it out!

Thanks for the link Smilie

And despite me being a smartass, this is a great deal. I just wish they'd hurry up and release the non-TTL version of the 400Pro.

I guess it depends on the time of day. If it's mid day, HSS of this flash is a bonus. Plus it has very consistent color accurate results. It's a very good monolight for many purposes, and very portable. I'd say it's good for any purpose greater than a speedlight.

few questions
1) can i manually set power directly from camera (canon) or i need additional device for it ?
2) is it more powerfull than regular flash ? like 580 ex ii?
3) is it much bigger/havier than regular flash ? portability is really important to me.

1) You would need a trigger. Based on your comments, I will assume you shoot Canon, so you would need this one:

https://www.adorama.com/fprrr2procii.html

or, if you need the hot shoe still, this one (pre-order, there is a version 1 of this type available as well):

https://www.adorama.com/fprrr2tcii.html

2) It is significantly more powerful than a speedlight.

3) This is a monolight, so it will never have the portability of a speedlight. But, in comparison to other monolights, this is a very portable (comes with a carry case, even), light weight, high quality option.
