So instead of electric bulbs you have oil lamps at your home? 😜

I have this. It's OK. There is a round circle thin strip on the bottom of it which is the heating element. So basically everything in close proximity of that strip gets cooked better than the edges of the cooking surface since it is closer to the heat source. It's very convenient to use since u just plug it into the outlet and turn it on to specified heat. Cleanup is a little awkward because it is big round unit and u cannot separate just the metal cooking g surface. The heating element is attached to it so it is awkward to clean. All in all probably worth it for $60 to try out for a couple of seasons.

if you look at pic 9 of 13 on the Walmart link you will see the portion of it that u need to take with to wash it. it is pretty bulky to wash in a kitchen sink. but if it is outdoors u can just clean it off with a garden hose.

Seems like a good deal. Around $80 on Amazon. For a grilling neophyte like myself, might be a good buy...

I used one at a vacation rental a few years ago and really liked how convenient it was. I ended up getting one for myself because I liked it so much. It heats up faster than a gas grill, cleans super fast, and can hold a good amount of food ( I regularly cook for 4-6 people with mine). I definitely prefer cooking with flame, but with how easy this thing is I never bothered replacing my gas grill when it rotted out.

Electric grill. No thanks..Never. I can't even use a gas grill. I use only Weber Performers with electric start to ignite the charcoal. I would not even buy a house that is all electric.

Bought one of these off of Craigslist two weeks ago, have used it a bunch. Clean up isn't too easy, but no other complaints.
