If you get the error code:

Error Code 9001-0141
You already have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, so you do not need to use this code.

It is because you already claimed the 3 month free offer and have to wait until the 9 month offer becomes available to you. You have to wait at least 3 months (literally, there will be a countdown to when you, personally can claim it)

If you care about this kind of thing, I just read on Reddit that adding the 9 months will turn Auto Renewal back on.

Got my 9 mos, cancelled Prime. So, basically got 12 mos of Nintendo online for only $12.99 (thanks to 30 day trial). Worked out well for me, though I'm addicted to Tetris99.

Any way to get my 7.99 back if I missed this until I saw the charge?

I received the $7.99 charge, no reminder, and when I try to claim the offer, "There was an error claiming the Nintendo Switch Online offer. Refresh this page to continue claiming or go back to the Twitch Prime offer page." Any advice?

Can't you manually disable auto renewal once the 9 months comes through?

I too get this same message. Luckily I turned off auto renew so I didn't get hit with a charge, but I went to play some Tetris99 and my online had just expired. So I went to the twitch offer page and my 9 month says redeemed and gives me the same "There was an error claiming the Nintendo Switch Online offer. Refresh this page to continue claiming or go back to the Twitch Prime offer page."

Has anybody figured out how to get past this problem? I talked to amazon and Nintendo customer service and neither could figure it out.

Same thing "Refresh this page to continue claiming or go back to the Twitch Prime offer page."
I can't even activate the three months. Also talked to Amazon and Nintendo and they have no clue.

I'm not the primary on prime, took a while to figure out and the reps told me I don't have to be but apparently you do.

"Customers who access Amazon Prime by being an invitee, as an added member of an Amazon Household, or through a Prime Video-only membership are not eligible for Twitch Prime. Prime Student members who are currently getting their benefits at no cost will only receive a single 30-day free channel subscription with their membership."

I don't think this is true or at least it wasn't when I did it. My partner is primary on prime account, I am an add on and I signed up for twitch prime for free and then claimed the code. I think only one person in your family can claim the Nintendo code but it definitely worked when I claimed the 90 day code and it worked for the other 9 months when I did it a few months ago

It might be a recent change... I went though everyone and finally found that by going through it step by step from their email response team. I'll suck it up and pay the 20 bucks or whatever at this point.
