Wasn't that a refurb. The 2060 he's talking about is new. And 2060's have been available as low as $290 new.

At this point, it's best to wait for Navi. The big presentation is in 2 weeks. Early reports are that the 5700 will be 10% faster than the 2070. AMD has shown it has what it takes at Computex this weekend. The Ryzen 3 and those new MBs knock Intel on it's ass. No longer is AMD the also ran and only a value proposition. The Ryzen 3s best Intel's best. The new PCI 4 MBs have double the bandwidth of existing MBs. Gigabyte already announced a new NVME drive with something like 5000MB/s of speed to work with those new AMD MBs.

If AMD can finally come through on it's GPUs like it has with it's CPUs, Navi just might nvidia on it's ass too.

The street is hopeful. AMD stock up over 10% today while the rest of the market was down.

Maybe in some very isolated obscure test. In general, the 2060 matches a 1070.

IIRC they tested Navi on some obscure game to get that result. I REALLY HOPE I'M WRONG AND AMD PULLS IT OFF but Navi may not perform as well with more mainstream games.

Take a breath and wait for benchmarks to come out. Stroking AMD before any real results are shown

Bought this on Black Friday for $284. Running like a champ. Drivers have gotten better, faster than a gtx 1080 and fast ddr6 memory.

Have it with an i9 9900k, Aorus Master Mobo and Patriot Viper RBG 16gb 3600mhz C16 ram. I currently only play PUBG with competition settings. Getting around 150-230fps at 1080p.

I recommend this card.
