My experience is in general yes, Wolverine makes a decent boot, but they tend to make a cheap as hell version and then rely on the name to sell the product. The cheap as hell versions end up in your JC Penny, Walmart, Kmart, Sears etc. A lot of brands, everything from electronics, shoes, clothes will do this and you as the consumer think your buying a good product based off the name brand and you end up with cheap junk. I can't speak specifically on these boots, but my guess is they're not going to compare to your $200+ Wolverine boots sold at other retailers. You get what you pay for.

Depending on your definition of decent. I'm not going back to non-goodyear welt

Wolverine boots are actually the best work boots on the market. Would never buy another brand... but they are so expensive. Usually they start at least $150
Must be geotagged deal because the " deals" are all coming up at $150+, $125+ after the 20% off code.

Bought some XW wolverine boots a while back but they are WIDE. Tightened the laces all the way until the upper of the boots almost touched. They are made for a beast of a man.
