I think the link that you want for the DeWalt 100 piece set is this one:

https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT-1...1000216973

The link that you posted takes you back to the original SD post fot the 80 piece Kobalt set.

Besides, this is not an apples to apples comparison. The Kobalt set has around twice as many drill bits (for various materials) vs.the DeWalt set that has 14 drill bits. The 86 other DeWalt items are bits for various screws. Not knocking the DeWalt set, it just depends on what your needs are for whatever project(s) you have at hand.

Personally, I like the Ryobi set set @ the "Orange Apron" store for a broad mix of tools. Mind you. I view all of these inexpensive sets as suitable for non-commercial, light-duty, occasional DIY use. I own an assortment of these types of tools from Ryobi, DeWalt, Milwaukee,Bosch, Craftsman and Stanley. I don't really have a favorite since I'm a DIY type. The commercial guys who use hand and power tools to make a living will likely weigh-in with their opinions. I do try to match the tool to the application though. For example, if I need to install long fasteners I would gravitate towards using an impact driver instead of a regular drill. Hand in hand with that, I would then use driver bits that are rated for impact use. Otherwise you will have a growing collection of stripped bits and cuss words.

If you take on a more robust project such as building a deck.I would purchase higher quality tools that are tailored to said project. For example, if you know that you will be repeatedly drilling the same size hole over and over again through exterior grade wood (e.g. pressure treated) then buy a decent bit that will take the torque and keep its edge so to avoid damaging your drill while not making your wood stock look like its been used for target practice --> clean holes w/o tear out. The same applies to other tools like power saw blades.

Or you can get this 210 piece Kobalt set if you're looking for a larger assortment.

There's some good pieces that aren't included in some other sets-

Counter sink
Finger driver
Nut setters
Socket adapters
Extra long Phillips

This is a good price for this set.

I have both, and I really dont like this set. The case bends and is a pain to put the bits back in. The design of of the bits and the way they fit a drill are also not my favorite.
I recommend the following one bc the case is just so damn handy.

Craftsman also has the same set.

This set is frequently down to $15, like on father's day, or around holiday sales
