Organize All Your Tools
Nothing's more frustrating than reaching for a tool in the middle of a project and finding it missing, but with the Craftsman 13" and 18" bag combo, all your tools will be at your fingertips. The oversize zipper tops make even big tools easy to store and retrieve. The smaller ones are clearly visible when stored in the sturdy mesh pockets on the outside of the bags. Store the bigger tools in the garage or hall closet in the larger bag for home repairs and improvement projects. Keep the smaller bag in the car or truck to hold the tools and accessories you need for highway emergencies and simple automotive repairs on the road.
Large and small sizes accommodate all types of hand tools and small power tools
Extra-strong zippers and materials won't tear or rip when exposed to sharp edges or pointed ends
Large openings let you see all the contents of the bags instead of groping in darkness for familiar shapes
Mesh pockets are perfect for storing small items, such as tapes and fasteners
Super strong construction ensures years of use without rips or tears

"Organize your tools" is definitely not the use. As soon as you put more than layer in these you just end up digging around looking for the right thing. I bought probably 8 of these combos with expiring points back in the rewards points days and I'm sure there's a purpose for these but I havent found it yet.

I don't have formal space in my garage, so some of these are used to organize (small clamps in one, medium clamps in one, spring clamps in one, Kreg stuff in one), then when I go to work on something at my parents' house or friends' houses, I put my circular saw in one and grab whatever other tools I need out of my drawer'd cabinets and throw in a second one. Definitely correct in saying it's not meant for organizing tools within the bag, it's more about making sure you bring everything along, then search through the bag(s) to find what you need.

These bigger one makes a nice carry-on luggage for short air travel or as small/weekend bug-out bag. The little one is good for throwing a couple of tools/gloves in when you have to take shop tools into the field but don't want or need to lug your whole kit around.

Put a six pack in the little one and use it as a gift bag!

These bags fall apart quickly. Wait for Home Depot husky bags to go on sale if you're in no rush

I also got several of these when on sale or with points. Use them to store some of my power tools.

Example-
Oscillating Tool and anything that might go with it such Blades and tool to change blades.

1/4 Sheet Palm Sander and sandpaper of various grits to go with it.

Random Orbit Sander and sandpaper of various grits to go with it.

Belt Sander and sandpaper of various grits to go with it.

Detail Sander and sandpaper of various grits to go with it.

1/3 Sheet Finishing Sander and sandpaper of various grits to go with it.

Etc...I have marked each bag with some cheap luggage tags I ordered from China. Just have to glance at the tag to know what is in the bag and everything needed for tool is in bag with it.

Got a bunch of these free after points a couple years ago, small but durable as hell. They wear like iron.

Agreed. Craftsman bags start shredding the interior liner. Husky is a better built item

It's a shame they don't sell the xtremegrip bag separate from the tool kit. I picked the tool kit up on clearance and that bag is amazing.

These? They're OK. I've gotten them put some cheap tools in them and thrown them in the trunks of my cars for the price they're not bad.

I picked up a bag a few years ago. It's still holding up fine. Granted, I don't use the bag on a daily basis, so it's not subject to a lot of wear and tear. Most of the time, it just sits in my garage.

I've been looking for a slightly larger bag to fit hammers and pipe wrenches. This deal seems to fit the bill. Thanks OP! Smilie

Just ordered 2 of these pairs, to pickup at store. Was even cheaper that the 9.99 quoted in this thread. Were 8.99 apiece

I bought a few of these years ago when they were around the $5 mark. Do a good job keeping my Ethernet and miscellaneous cables organized
