I own a lot of these in SD and HD. There should be an option during these sales to pay like $2 to upgrade to 4k.

Just my opinion... Unless you really want to watch a title you currently own in UHD, I wouldnt pay $5 to upgrade your existing titles to 4k. Eventually, VUDU will either upgrade existing titles for free like iTunes or will offer upgrade pricing. Again, just my opinion.

This is dangerous. I just got my 4K tv set up this week and am looking for 4K content. $5 is less than a new release rental.

Oooh, note that a lot of these are available as discounted rentals, too. (Rotten Tomatoes fresh rating in parentheses for some)

UHD Rental prices:
$.99
LEGO Movie (though I already own HDX)
Wonder Woman
Great Gatsby
Focus (Will Smith, 2015, 56%)
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (66%)
Man of Steel
Batman vs Superman
Suicide Squad (27%)
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

$1.99
La La Land
Sicario (92%)
Source Code
Expendables
Hacksaw Ridge
Ender's Game
3:10 to Yuma
RED
Warrior
Now You See Me
Now You See Me 2
Cabin in the Woods (91%)

These have a "RENTAL SALE" badge on top of their image, but I can't find a link to the sale.

No rental option:
Terminator 2

I would rent a lot of those, if I knew that sale would last (or I could buy now and watch them in the next year, but not next 30 days). As it is, there may be a few I'll buy.

3:10 to Yuma is by far the best of the bunch.

having never used Vudu, can I download these flicks and play them with Plex or do I have to use Vudu to watch them?

Is there a site that rates the 4K presentation of these movies? Especially an older movie like Terminator 2, for instance.

Hmm, reviews for the 4K blu-ray release aren't great, so I imagine this one isn't any better.
