Good deal even if you just want to add 2 cameras to an existing system @ $139.50 a piece.

Anyone know if a second hub (for those of us already in the ecosystem) allows you to double your total number of cameras? I read in the past there was some sort of limit.

OP, also posted single camera deal here. Nice find OP!!!

Anyone have a comment on how these compare to the Nest equivalents? Main areas of concern for me are Google Home compatibility, ease of use, quality of video feed.

Also, if you're not taking advantage of the Amex deal then Staples and BestBuy both seem to have similar prices on this package right now.

It looks like the main difference between the Pro vs Pro 2 is:
Pro - 720p resolution and longer battery life, records only motion activation (with 3 second delay)
Pro 2 - 1080p resolution and shorter battery life, option for (paid) monthly continuous recording. No delay from motion

Each hub allows you to connect 5 cameras without any monthly charge. If you buy the 6 camera kit (and that kit only), it will allow you to connect 6 cameras to the hub without a monthly charge.

If you wanted to have more cameras and did not want to pay the monthly fee, then you will need to create multiple accounts. One hub for one account (email). How it works is that you share the "other" accounts with your main account. It's fairly simple in the settings. When you log into your main account, you see all the cameras like they were all 1 account.

FYI. I have 4 Arlo Pro's and one original Arlo. The forums are not kind these days, several recent server outages and the newest firmware is a dumpster fire. There is growing concern the company will not last, they grew too fast without scaling up properly and hiring good programmers. Many of us owners pull our hair out, this product line has SO MUCH potential but Arlo has had years to get their act together and just cannot seem to get it right. Damn shame too. Maybe Amazon or someone will buy them out. As it stands now I don't know how they can survive.

Do not waste your money on this. I'm returning mine tonight to bestbuy. Compete garbage. Every day I had them it that progressively worse.at first they were great but I got a million notifications a day and after a week I was getting zero notifications for an entire 24 hour. And it wouldn't even record anybody walking in front of my house. The other night I had a fire on my grill and guess what... the Arlo didn't record any of it. not to mention last week they had about a 24-hour period where the servers were down so you didn't get any recordings stored whatsoever

Think the field of view is a bit better too. 130 degrees for Pro 2 vs 110 for Pro if I remember.

Edit: Yes. found it:

Not sure about Arlo and Arlo Pro, but Arlo Pro 2 was super stable, reliable and worry free for the past 6 months. Coming from Foscams, it's a million times easier to deal with.

Can you guys suggest an alternative to Arlo (if Arlo isn't that great)? Thanks.

Blink --- Owned by Amazon and similar to Arlo. None are perfect.
