Damn.....$69 for the C83, $79 for the S801s? Crazy good price and only $269 shipped for the S809s. This is best deal around for a light-middle weight AV 5.1 speaker setup at the $500 mark. If your in the market, this is gonna be it.

S807s a worthwhile upgrade over Pioneer FS52s?

It looks like the C series is not included this time. And last time, you could only buy a single speaker.

Amazing, thank you. I got my wife the S 807s for Christmas. Now I'll get her the center and I'm torn between the 801s or 803s for bookshelf. This is only for music i.e. records, CDs and streaming so if anyone has input it'd be greatly appreciated.

Too bad the C-series isn't included. My C93's I picked up last month are so sweeeeet! Beat my Polk's easily and look oh-so-nice in my new setup.

Right now I have some old small Logitech speakers hooked up to my Yamaha receiver. Thinking of just buying one of these to replace my center channel speaker. Would that be worthwhile? My center always seems to a bit low volume no matter how much I raise it

You wouldn't want to do that. You want the Front L/R & Center speakers to be of the same make/model line. If you do what you were thinking, the sound coming out of the center speaker is going to sound very different than the front l/r speakers. It will be noticeable and annoying.

It doesn't matter as much with the rear speakers, but I'd definitely avoid upgrading your center until you're also ready to upgrade the front l & r.

If I were to buy a 5.0 or 7.0 set-up with the 83c and 807s as my front, does anyone know if there'd be a noticable difference between the 803s and 801s for the other channels? I know the 803s are known to be much better than the 801s, but I'm still towards the illiterate end of home audio and don't know if I should pay extra if they're just going to be used as surround speakers.

Why do they even send out daily codes when 2288 works with every single sale?
