Pflueger President Spinning Fishing Reel PRESSP20B @ Walmart - $37.56 + tax w/ free shipping.

I purchased this one in store yesterday. This normally go for $50 every where else.
$49.99 - $12.43 = $37.56

This is the smallest size reel from the President lineup. I pair this with a 6' Berkley lightening rod for a very light bluegill and panfish setup.

Just as a heads up the size 20 features a slide through handle vs the 25/30/35/40 all feature wind in geared handles. These aren't formal names for the designs but I couldn't find any more common alternatives. Basically the slide through handle has a retaining cap on the opposite side of the handle and has more play and slop in the handle itself. The wind in geared handles are the very tight precise feel that the Pluegers are known for. The slide through can be identified easily, when you reel, the cap on the opposite side of the handle will spin. On a wind in reel the cap is just a cover for the alternative wind in gear and wont be connected to the handle at all. There's not a whole lot of functional difference but a wind in will feel much more connected and direct, most of the higher end reels incorporate this as well. Just a small heads up to someone who may buy this expecting the feel of their full size president/trion.

If these are the same ones Cabela's had on on Black Friday, this was the same price. Good reel, I got the 3500 series and wish I bought smaller. Brickseek shows "limited stock" at my stores, but I'll try anyway. Thanks

Good for a summer panfish rod or put it on an ice fishing rod.

These are great reels for the price - great for creek fishing. I put braid on mine and have caught several bass in the 2 lb range with no trouble.

If you build it, we will come. Typically there are gun related one, I would be more shocked if there isn't one. No community is better than this one currently though. Even the gun ones are all shills that are almost always above sale prices.

Republicans scared themselves so much that the gun sales are more of a "in stock" notification at above MSRP. Just be glad we have hidden fishing gems on SlickDeals and a great community.

Another difference is that this has only 7 ball bearings compared to all the other sizes which have 10.

Dick's will price match any local retailer and they have a 10 dollar rebate on the president plus rewards program. YMMV

No, it must be in stock. That's why you'd have to have a local Walmart with it in stock. Then dicks may take brickseek word or you may have to call Walmart while you're there.
