Be careful with the "Pixel" kit, as the version you'll see reviewed on Youtube and the like is the Kickstarter edition that has more features and is a much more robust design overall. For $19 it's probably still fun, but it's not half the product the Kickstarter version was.

Found some of the motion sensors for $3 each a couple weeks ago, never got around to posting. Nothing in stock by me.

I picked up the $35 one about two weeks ago that includes a Raspberry Pi 3 (not 3 plus)...it was worth it just for all the stuff in the box, like a case, memory, power supply, wireless keyboard/mouse, cables and more. Also, this has an on/ off switch most Pi-s I've purchased don't include that. (and more)

Grabbed one of the touch kits a couple weeks ago. installed retropie on it out of the box. Makes a nice little $59 portable retro gaming console.

Slightly unrelated, is Brickseek only showing one result with a 'get premium' notification now?

The pixel kits are not worth buying, but the build your own tablet kit is great. Not really a tablet, though. Make sure you know what you are buying. It is a great kit, though, and a great first computer for a young coder.

I don't think any come with pi3+. Pixels do not have a pi in them.

I was recently looking to buy a computer kit for my 10 year old, to keep her busy over summers. After researching and comparing Kano vs Piper, I settled for Piper Computer Kit. While not portable as Kano Touch, Piper has more components, and emphasizes more on 'building' as opposed to just playing games with included software. I was able to get it off eBay for under $100 (brand new), where original typically sells for $200.

Hmmm....anyone know if there is a wand hacker community? I want to use it to turn on my ceiling fans.

For a computer, you can buy a Raspberry Pi, download Kano OS and I can confirm it works!
