You don't have to. This phone is unlocked, just pop in your own sim card and you're good to go.

I wonder if he's talking about this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077YNY...B4G5Y&th=1

Not an X4 that he mentioned, which seems to be $200 and not $125. This MotoX seems to be a much better phone at only $20 more. The only thing is Alexa is built into it, which can be a positive or negative. However, it does come w/ Android 8 and upgradeable to Android 9.

Edit: Nevermind, it is an X4, just the 32GB version vs the non-Alexa 64GB version that's $200. Also, doesn't seem to be compatible with Sprint.

Can't believe this is an SD. Those specs should be standard for $100.

E4 Plus is a very good phone, have had as well as now have Moto X4 and would say the sound quality of calls on E4 better, but X4 really is faster and newer. The E4+ 5000 mAh battery is killer - I have gotten 2 full days many times before re-charge. But I do still think this should be $60-$80 now...if it was I might get a new one as backup.

2 GB Ram is too low. I would get a Refurb Samsung Galaxy S7. 4 GB Ram which is much better. I have two and both are very good.

Edit you may complain lack of updates to the phone. I do not care. I will replace it when the S8 gets under $100,

I believe the battery comment was about the perks of the E4 Plus, which is 5000.
