This is a good deal. But please do remember that another factory seconds sale will be starting June 12.

As far as these All-Clad go, great pan, worst handles of any pan I have ever used. The angle must have been designed by alien engineers, cause no human hand is set on an angle to hold these well enough to keep them from flipping over...unless you have large and strong hands, I suppose then you can force them to your will, but otherwise, it is a chore to use these.

wow... this might just be too good to pass up. this set is $499 on amazon without the extra oval baker. O_O

edit: the amazon 7 piece set has a larger stock pot and larger saucepan. still, this is an excellent deal. =)

All these "deals" from macys as of late have proven one thing to me. Macys items are some of the most overpriced things on the planet!

The listing says the set was "Created for Macy's" but it looks like the ordinary D3 set found elsewhere, but with slightly smaller pieces, as mentioned.

I, for one, could use the smaller pieces for side dishes to round out my other sets.

Almost all of these pieces will be close to $99 in the factory seconds sale.

Agreed, handle is super uncomfortable. It's funny because they try to market it as "Designed for use with wet hands" or some crap people would believe to justify the dumb design lol.

But also note, some of the all-clad have a different designed handle that is fatter and more comfortable. At least for my 12" stainless skillet the handle was different compared to the annoying ones like this set.

I can't get the stain off these stainless ware. I've tried vinegar with/without bake soda, but still doesn't work...any tips keep these in good shape?

Thanks, good price, better than what they've traditionally had going for the second hand sales. Just an FYI to save a few people time, the "25% off your first app order" deal doesn't stack with these.

yes, as stated..barkeepers friend works great for anything that won't come off with normal washing. assuming you're talking about the outside of the pans, i don't bother with that. i cook with mine daily and they don't need to be show pieces. Wink

One of reviewers mentioned this:

"Just purchased this set online and was disappointed to find that all pans in this set are the "D3" series, which is different than the plain standard "Stainless" version. Nowhere in the Macy's documentation is D3 mentioned. The D3 line is slightly lighter and less quality than the plain "Stainless" line. I purchased the 3.5qt "Stainless" pot separately first and was very impressed with the weight, quality and how fast it boiled water. D3 is not as good. The box, the warranty card, and the imprint on the bottom of the pot is different between them. The stainless line has a 4 at the front of the part number, while the D3 has a 1. I think that the D3 does not perform as highly as the Stainless line. So just beware if you think you are getting the classic "Stainless" line, you are NOT, this is the "D3" line. Still very fine pans, made in USA, but not quite as heavy duty as the classic Stainless line. And very disappointed that Macy's is not highlighting this in the descriptions."
