I have these and bought them cheaper from Clarks sometime back. The stitching between the sole and the sides of the shoe is coming out. I have a brown and a black one and moderately worn to work. They both have the same issue. If you look at amazon, the product has similar review.

These are very comfortable though

Agreed, Clark's are very comfortable, especially with wide feet. They have been my preference. However, I have also noticed a decline in quality and durability. I had a pair for less than a year, and the sole cracked straight across. At first, I thought these could be my replacement but, given some of the reviews on these, I think probably not.

Workmanship is poor with recent Clarks - will pass. Ecco has its own durability problems but not to this degree

I walk probably 1-3 miles a day at work and these are awesome. I've got a pair on now but they are due for replacement. I've had them for probably close to 2 years.

I have the Dockers version of these shoes. On my third pair. LOVE them. I also have the Bostonian Abeo and Rockport versions. They are all the same styling. The Dockers are the most comfortable. Long lasting wear them daily.
