When they refurbish these, do they put in new batteries?

Is anyone else concerned by the fact that they've sold over 5000 refurbs of just the actives, just on ebay alone? I've sorta kinda wanted a pair for a while but there are SO many refurbs its scary

i got a pair of these on the amazon warehouse deal.
do yourself a favor and skip them if you need them for calls. the mic quality is really as bad as the negative reviews make em out to be.
weird propensity to pick up background noise and overall poor call quality.

fit will be hit or miss based on your ear shape. but it seems like if airpods fit you well these will fit poorly.

I didn't know there were over 5000. But now that you pointed it out, it doesn't sound very reassuring.

I posted this deal over a week ago. It got taken down because seller doesn't have the trusted seller badge so need 20k feedback. Item I received works fine. No indication of any battery issues, sound isolation is a bonus over airpods when needed, sound quality is good, had no issues with multiple phone calls, but the left earbud needs to be ridiculously close to the right to work. This is only an issue if you want to share with someone to watch/listen to something together. Also the fact that you can't use the left one alone may be a deal breaker to some. These won't work well for small ears as it will rub. Another thing that is strange is that the silicone earpiece has come off from the earbuds when taking the earbuds off. This leaves the eartip in your ear canal. Happened to me twice and once to someone else trying it. Also, it comes in a zip lock baggie, so no retail packaging.

Even though the seller is Jabra the company, it is not a trusted seller?

The seller does not have the TRS+ badge, which doesn't mean it isn't a trusted seller. Without the badge, the forum rules states it needs 20k feedback with 98%+ positive. Either way, I think it's a good deal but only tossed that in there for info. My post got taken down same day though so yours already survived longer than mine did.

Thanks for the info. I am not the OP. I'll give you rep points for your post that was taken down. Why was your post taken down? Posts about ebay sales here have to be from sellers who are TRS+?

I'm still on the fence on this deal. I trust the seller, Jabra. I'm interested in the Sport version. However, I have read that the mic is not that great on it. I want to use it for phone calls too. Do you have it?

I am concerned with the call quality/mic as well.

The other earbuds I am considering are the mifo o5. YouTube and a few sites rave about their call quality, but I cannot find anyone that has done a comparison between the two.

Anyone in the SD community have any experience with both the Jabra 65t and mifo o5?

From the guidelines that I read, this was what I came up.
1. Need to have 98% positive feedback.
2. Need to have TRS+ badge and 10k+ feedback.
3. If seller does not have TRS+ badge, need to have 20k+ feedback.

Jabra on eBay meets 1, but not 2 or 3 from above. Seller is missing TRS+ badge and does not have 20k feedback.

I had no issue with the mic. From the audio reviews with samples on youtube, it seem like it was pretty good. In real world, I took a call out in the parking lot with a lot of wind without any issue. The person was able to hear me just fine and never needed me to repeat myself. How much background that person was able to hear, I am not sure. However, it did the job.

Yes, I got all 3. Mediums were installed on the earbuds. Small and large were in a little baggie.

Hi, when they refurbish these, do they put in new batteries as well?

With new batteries, how long will the batteries last? I don't mean last as in per-usage, but total hours lifetime?
