It's not ok either way. That's how society is on a downward spiral. It's unfortunate. I can't teach my kid that it's ok to steal from the "rich" aka companies, in this scenario.

Just do things honestly. I wish more ppl can think this way.

If anyone does, or has already done this, can you come back and confirm what type of ticket it is? The theater near me does assigned seating, and popular movies sell out early, requiring you to buy in advance online. Is this one you can use online or do you print and take it to the theater?

This is the printed type. Just look at the full terms and conditions: "must bring printed Movie Certificate to the participating theater box office to redeem."

I've never done something like this before, so if anyone has insight I'd appreciate it.

The terms say 4 per household, so I'd like to do 4 total. It also says that the 2 Ziploc purchases must be in the same transaction.

If I want to do 4, can I purchase 8 in one transaction or do I need to do 4 separate transactions? Not that big of a deal if I do, I just don't want to be a pain for the cashier if I don't have to.

Disney made 9 Billion in merchandising sells for TS3. While they only made 1 Billion in box office sells.
No idea what they made in home and tv release since.
So with Disney pumping out many new, and Fox titles this summer, I must wonder if they can recreate those profits. Also Frozen 2 is soon to make it's virgin release: Another profit maker in merchandising.

Did these before...had to be 2 per receipt, so 4 separate transactions. Pain.

Anyone mind posting their receipt after they get the tickets? That way the rest of us can see if the same receipt image can be used again?... Similar to the Uber/Dr. Pepper deal a few months back.

Thanks.
So dishonest!!!!! OMG! society has come this low?

I used one of these from the Avengers promo at Cinemark on discount Tuesday. The certificate has numbers you can input as a credit card at Fandango.com check out if the total is less than the $9 credit.

If the ticket is more than $9, it won't work online. I managed to use it in person on a separate occasion for Dolby Endgame tickets at AMC.

You might be able to use it on AMC.com or Cinemark.com as a credit card too. Haven't tried it yet because I like my Fandango VIP points.

While I don't agree with what he's intending to do, these companies make so much profit by overcharging for products that cost them almost nothing to make. So I get the whole "They screw us over, let's screw them" mentality. It's funny how it's only dishonest when a working class person tries to steal from the rich, but it's ok when it's the other way around

Where do people get movie tickets for $9? The regular theaters here are already $18 before the convenience fees. That's not even for the iMax showings.
