This might be fine if you have 10 friends but from what I understand - its one hub per account. I bought a 2 pack and the second hub would only be usable on a second account.

If there is a way to combine them in the same network/account I'd be all for it.

Anyone know the lumen output? And are there really 10 bulbs included? Seems cheap. Are they any good?

Can you not connect to all 10 light bulbs to a single SmartThings hub? Or is this not 10 light bulbs?

Yeah, its 10 bulbs plus 10 hubs. I mean, the bulb price is decent per each but seems like a waste for the other 9 hubs.

So the price per bulb is $3.70 each. For a zigbee bulb that's not too bad. The hubs are worthless from what I understand anyway. The bulbs on the other hand work quite well with other hubs.

Any idea which hub is best? My experience so far is less than exciting with these hubs.

They connect seamlessly to the Samsung Smartthings hub, but will become disconnected after a couple of months and have to be paired up again. I don't recommend smart things.

Have yet to have any issues with any of mine. Not sure what my oldest bulb is anymore, but it has to be a year by now on one of them. For the price I paid (cheaper than this) I can't really complain.

I have a WinkHub 2 and I like it so far. The Wink app allows you to group the bulbs anyway you like so you can control whole rooms or fixtures. It also allows you to set scheduled for when you're away to turn on and off. It's a pretty useful hub and app.

I use mine with SmartThings and can't complain. I have one bulb that gets disconnected once in a while because it's on the farthest end of the house. But just a simple flick of the light switch on/off seems to fix it. For the price you can't beat it.

So some bulbs have issues acting as repeaters messing up some zigbee networks if your using your own hub. Their Lightify hub would allow you to do two things you normally could not do, one separate the bulbs by tying them to the hub and than tying the hub to your hub of choice (hubitat in my case). Second the lightify hub is the only way to upgrade the firmware on any other sylvania devices.

Just started using these bulbs with hubitat, so far so good.

So pretty much for $37 you are getting 10x1 stater kits. Normally a starter kit on the cheapest I seen was almost $9. So you are saving a lot.. Great deal, but as others mentioned nothing to do with the other 9 hubs, they dont sell for much. Keep them as backups I guess.

Seems like a good deal. For anyone interested, CRI on these bulbs is listed as "80+" (pdf) [sylvania.com] in product spec sheet on Sylvania website [sylvania.com].

I bought some of their RGBW canned light retrofits (different specs) in a recent deal. So far so good. I've read that it helps to have one or more zibee repeaters included first before adding in any of these bulbs. The Ikea Tradfri outlets @ ~$10 seem to be a popular choice (at least on Hubitat).

edit: spelling
