The price on android phones drop so quick. Never buy android phones on release date. They don't hold their value at all.

Is it just me or has the number of lazy people that expect someone else to do their research for them grown immensely since SD started? I actually remember when people would do their own legwork after being alerted to a deal. Now it's like, "Does anyone know if I can do _______ with ________ and still get _____?" When you consider most of these people are already in front of a device that has several search engine options, it's even more puzzling.

New idea for SlickDeals, let people ask questions, but when they do, their post incurs a "helpless" vote. If you answer a question, you can receive a "helpful" upgrade. If you reach enough "helpless" votes, your posts are automatically ignored for a period of time. I know we already have a helpful vote, but I'd like to see a "helpless" one. I suspect there are a lot of SDers that do nothing but ask questions in here without doing a little researching on their own. /soapbox

1) Can this be used on AT&T?
2) Does Costco allow trade-in? I have Galaxy S9.

Sorry to ask again, but if I open a postpaid line to get this deal (I'm only on Tmo prepaid which is ineligible), can I immediately cancel the postpaid line once I get home, so I can use my prepaid sim in the phone?

The rep at the store said I had to keep the line open for 90 days, but I think that's only so they can keep their commission.

1. Yes postpaid customer with Costco membership.
2. Once you use it for 40 days can be unlocked.
3. It's not part of this promo will have less trade in value, you can check normal trade in value at this link

90 days is for the rep at the store commission, best to keep line open for 40 days to get it unlocked from T-Mobile
