This is a lukewarm deal. Was expecting 2018 Q7 65 in sub 1000 price at this point of time

Yeah I'm waiting for Samsung Q8FN 65inch for 1,200 by now.

Samsung makes too many TVs and their Qled series are their top of the line. As long as all of the other models sell cheap Qled prices really don't drop.

It's insane that a Q9 65" from 2018 new still cost $2k

Samsung Qled hold their value very well

*I wouldn't hold my breath , just checked prices and cheapest they are selling the Q8 65" is still north of $1700 which is just crazy. Looks like you can get an Oled 65" cheaper.......

55" NU8000 was $599 at Microcenter months ago, but I've only seen them higher since. I paid $799 for a 55Q7CN and I'm happy with it. Imo this is a good deal. Some of the expectations in here seem a little high.

Let me tell you guys something. I have both the NU8000 and I just got the TCL 617 55". I was saying TCL was junk and I would never buy from them. Well let me tell you something folks. How wrong I was dead wrong. The TCL is OMG a BEAUTIFUL TV. It blows my NU8000 out of the water. Let me tell you that the TCL is just as good as the high end Samsung QLEDs and the Sony X900F. My friend has the X900F and I do not see a difference in PQ. My TCL that I just got has no DSE but has alittle vignetting in the corners but it's so slight cant even tell. The TCL I am very shocked and I must say I apologize for saying anything bad. People do not waste your money on the Samsung Q6,Q7, Q8, Q9 or the Sony x900F there is slight better picture quality. It's not worth spending an extra $1000 on a slightly better PQ. Please do your self a favor and get one. I was the biggest skeptic. it's not better then an OLED of course.

TLDR: TCL has Dolby Vision but is a 60Hz panel.
