Automobile is published by Motor Trend Group. Road And Track is a Hearst Publication.

I like Maximum PC. It's not dumbed-down like PC MAG and other publications. It's not as relevant as it was years ago because there is so much info online, but for a buck or so an issue, it's worth a read.

I prefer the digital edition, though. Not sure if this deal includes it or not.

Agreed, Maximum PC is easily worth ~$1/issue for the content. They do good reviews, build some truly over-the-top PCs, and have interesting tech opinion columns as well. I've subscribed from back when it was called boot magazine. I'd say this is a Kick-Ass deal. Wink

I just looked back and saw my current digital subscription to Maximum PC was $8.99 back in NOV 2018 (and is the current price on Zinio).

FYI, Save signing up for the pop up at top. It reads save 95% and additional 20% though neither discount appeared on my transaction for Maximum PC. Retail prices is $28 and I paid OP price + $1 tax.

Not a deal breaker for me as this is a gift for my son who would like to build his first PC.

There is the chance that I overlooked something.

BTW, when you order make certain to read and interpret the 'Subscription Lock' correctly as it's a double negative, check the box NOT to lock in automation subscription renewal.

Ever since Gordon left Maximum PC, I don't read the magazine or listen to the podcasts.

I never really liked road and track since I always felt like it was lacking content compared other magazines but just my opinion.
For many years I subscribed to car and driver, motortrend, and then automobile magazine until last year. I felt that car and driver and motortrend were very similar in content but I preferred the former because I liked the content better. However automobile magazine always felt different and of higher quality compared to the others and it had a few sections that the others didn't like the one in which they analyzed a car's interior and interior design and one where Jay Leno talked about one of the cars in his collection.
