Bought the red one 2 years ago and used it twice. Tried to use it yesterday but it said "battery Lo", so I tried to charge it...for over 24 hours now...and it still says "battery Lo".

The red charging light was lit for a few seconds when I first plugged in the unit and then disappeared.

What a waste of $$$ for a paper weight...
I have the same issue

It's common maintenance requirement for any rechargeable battery, leave it uncharged for extended period of time will kill it. Charge before it's completely out can last the battery for a very long time.

I bought the 600A gooloo with coupon from here in Feburary, it's however not found anymore on either SD or Amazon, guess it must be clearance. For $25 total and I didn't really count on it as in the past I have bought a couple few years ago various brands of portable jump starter, never did the job when needed it.

But last week I had the first chance put it in use for the civic, and it worked like a charm. From the time bought it I have never charged it or touched it, it was in the trunk all the time. Now I want one gooloo in each car.

The 800A gooloo [amazon.com] was on flash sale at amazon for $55 two days ago when I happened to find it and just received it today, here it goes again.

Sometimes I think the heat might have killed the battery given so many failed starter battery. Mine was bought in February which is winter time. In summer the car is park under the sun and often high temp. inside the car and trunk.

FWIW people don't realize how harmful it is for lithium batteries to be kept in a hot car. Just parking in the sun on a chilly 50 degree F day can bake it good. I'm surprised these things last at all, especially in warmer climates.
