Editor's Notes & Price Research

Condition: This item is Manufacturer Refurbished. It has been professionally restored by an Acer approved vendor and comes with a 90 day manufacturer warranty. Units are usually cosmetically indistinguishable from New products, but some may show signs of light use. Functionally, these units are equivalent to New. Manufacturer Refurbished units may be shipped in non-retail packaging.

Highly rated on Amazon. It's available brand new on Amazon for $89.99 and "renewed" for $77.99, for comparisons sake.

amazon "renewed" link here [amazon.com]

This has been posted refurbished on SD in the past for $69.99, so this would seem like a great deal.

Of note, this comes with a 90 warranty from Acer (as opposed to one year if you buy it new) and their official eBay listing offers free returns.

Hope I posted everything correctly. Happy deal hunting.

I've bought from Acer eBay refurbs multiple times I can say their customer service is excellent but the monitors typically had imperfections. One time they did not include the base mount screw and gave me like $20 off just for that. Another time one of my monitors had light scuff marks on the side casing (not the screen) and they gave me $40 off. Also I bought two of the same refurb monitors and could never get the colors to match exactly I think they have different panels. Overall though I got good enough monitors for very cheap and had no functional issues with them for years.

The Acer I picked up last Thanksgiving for $60 is a couple inches bigger but no Freesync I believe. They look the same otherwise. Glad I got it. Works well.

Even though it's RC, I think it's nice price for an IPS Freesync 75Hz Wish it had DVI but HDMI will work for me as a secondary monitor. Free ship and no tax. Thanks OP

If anyone is looking for a a 25" inch freesync monitor the XF251Q is currently $91.99

- 24.5" Full HD Display with 1920 x 1080
- Response time: 1 ms
- Standard Refresh Rate: 75 Hz
- Twisted Nematic Film (TN Film)
- Vesa 100mm x 100mm

I've owned this monitor for about 6 months, got it through acer refurb for 109.99. It looked new when I got it. The color accuracy was abysmal but rtings has an ICC profile that fixed a lot of my issues.

$70 new at staples, might be able to stack with the $25 off $75 coupon if you find a cheap filler.

How do the color accuracies compare to Acer k242HL?
Would this one be good for color grading/photoshop work?

That Staples unit seems to be refurbished as well. Still good though if that coupon works.

Been waiting for cheap monitors to buy for new home office. Doesn't look like I'm finding cheaper than this other then magic YMMV Walmart deal or scouring craigslist. Thanks!
