I think you have to use the giveaway link to get the sale price. I have the tranquility brand blanket from Target. Personally, I prefer to buy known name brands or from physical stores like Target or Kohl's. Amazon has a lot of shill market place grifters selling low quality garbage -- especially for "fad" items like weighted blankets. If you're interested in a weighted blanket, I suggest the Tranquility blanket at Target, JC Penney or Kohl's. Also, JC Penney has a Sealy branded blanket.
I don't know if they work. I have ADHD and my symptoms have not changed as a result of the blanket but I do enjoy the embrace of the weight and I sleep a little better because I'm more comfortable. I'll put it in terms most people can appreciate. If you like the feeling of the lead blanket at the dentist during x-rays, then get a weighted blanket.

promo also applies to the 20lb blanket, totals ~$55. Still a good deal?

fark it. Bought one. Finally a reasonable price for one of these. Good reviews (too lazy to skim through) and probably easy to return. Awesome 1 day delivery, no tax for my state, and 5% back with the Amazon visa.

I literally just bought one of these a couple days ago for nearly twice the price. It's pretty nice. The "cells' with the glass beads are slightly too larger for my taste, ideally they would be nonexistent and the weight of the blanket would compress you. But there was zero plastic odor which was nice, well made.

I'm probably gonna return my other one and buy this one in a true slickdealer fashion to save a couple bucks.

Not these. The outer material is semi-waterproof and it takes forever to get it soaked through.

Dang. I already have a 10-pounder. I was looking for more lbs (at least a 30-pounder), mainly because my two kids are getting much stronger.

When I tell my kids to be quiet/sit still & they just won't heed my commands, all I have to do is walk toward the blanket closetn& they quickly sit right up & are amazingly quiet.

By the way, these work well for immobilizing folks/rabid animals, etc. when thrown from a height of 10-20 feet.

I bought what appears to be the same blanket under a different name, $80 after coupon for 20lb. So, $55 seems slick. It really helps me sleep through the night and fall back to sleep faster when I do wake. Highly recommend it. 48x72in 20lb works well for 6ft, 200lb me. I got narrow width for more concentrated weight, but it only covers well when I lie on my back. I'd buy 60in wide if I were ordering again.

You should try a bowling ball also.

So much this. Add Walmart.com to the list of offenders. About 80% of their content is not returnable to stores, which to me is a big time "B&M fail" — don't be a second-rate Amazon. Speaking of Amazon, they're almost as bad. A fee years ago you could count on Amazon to offer a reasonably good selection of items, but now it's a third-party free for all.

I've suddenly found myself just going to local stores for items, as Amazon gets sketchier AND more expensive in a lot of cases.

This "Retail race to the bottom" needs to end soon. A store's brand name needs to count for something again.
