No, but I've ordered a 55" TLC from Amazon and no problems since TV's are much lighter these days!

Purchased 55" from Rakuten and was impressed with quality of packaging. Thick layer of the sturdy bumble wrap between an exterior box and the OEM TCL box. Non-concern imo

Can anyone speak to the durability of TCL TV's? They've popped up as the discount TV set, but has anyone had over 5 years of use with these? I know TCL is fully a Chinese company, whereas other companies only do their manufacturing in China and have their own quality control standards. Kind of hard to determine which reviews are credible when people post wildly positive or negative reviews after 2 days of ownership.

Bought one for my parents a couple years ago and they like it better than the Samsung model with nearly the exact same specs. If you'll need a decent amount of sound though, gonna have to get a sound bar. I bought it for $389 or something on a sale and was happy with my purchase. For $291. Hard to go wrong with it. 👍🏽

I have a 40" TCL bought from Amazon in 2012, and is still working.

Thanks for the input. I need a 43", but thought I'd ask while the post is about a TCL set. Now I'm regretting not pulling the trigger on that 5 series when it was 170 via Google Express.
