May get the 5 drawer tool chest combo, but it looks like they changed their policy for online military discounts. Now you have to go to the store and make the purchase.

I went into Lowe's to look at this and the other craftsman combo set. Overall, it looks cheaply made. The drawers are flimsy and wobble easily. The sheet metal it was made of also seemed relatively thin... I had to pass...

The time to buy a decent cabinet like this for cheap was when Lowes was clearing out their Kobalt chests for this Craftsman stuff.
Or when Home Depot was clearing out their 'special buy' Christmas stock.

$184 is probably the best current price for a usable cabinet which can actually hold a decent amount of tools. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky...R2UE0grRc0

It's 2400 sq. inches larger with 100 lb rated drawers vs the weenie 30 lb. drawers on this Craftsman.

Yep, but now it's in-store only. I got a $20 off coupon instead and ordered online.

Agreed. This seems to be a thinner gauge steel. Reminds me of the thinner gauge steel on charcoal grills. I'd pass on this one.

I wish I could find one like this but with one drawer big enough for file folders. This would make a good filing cabinet, flimsy or not. I need smaller drawers on top.

I remember when Craftsman products were the best of the best. If you had tools with that name on it, you knew they were made in America, high quality, built to last, with a lifetime guarantee. I don't really understand why Lowes thought it would be a good idea to adopt a line of products with a reputation that's been stedily declining for years! Ever since Sear's decided it would be a better idea to save a few bucks, falling back on everything "CRAFTSMAN" tools ever stood for, and started maufacturing everything overseas. That's when they should have just changed the name to "FAUXMAN" Tools. It doesn't matter how good of a deal you can find on the stuff, or what store is carring the name, everything that name will ever be is nothing but overpriced made in China garbage. Just another smart move by Sears... I mean, just look at them now!

I've been very happy with the carts I've gotten from harbor freight. I am not running a shop or anything, but I have a few in my basement that I have loaded up with project specific tools and they seem pretty bombproof.

Got a few myself, Harbor Frieght has some solid stuff for the price, everything else seems like the other person said, overpriced Chinese junk living in name only
