Note they use the f1.4 for DX tests and a f1.8 is sharper (lighter and less expensive). One of the reasons to get this is best value primes. Especially used/street. the 35mm or the 50mm(for portraits)

This can do some nice video; but only if you are seriously into it and pull your own focus. But that means you may prefer lower cost manual lenses for video. If you do mainly stills then consider this value. If you really want video primarily then consider something like the more expensive GH5. So if you plan to do just a little video th is D3500 might be your camera, with the best comprehensive value.
