Amazon has the 75" TCL R6 for $1399.99 before 15% back on Prime Visa. This comes out to about $1190 plus tax on the $1399.99. Lowest price ever on this TV, and about $100 better than Best Buy. Shipping is, of course, free for Prime members.

Incidentally, shipping on my 65" R6 bought from Amazon was Enhanced Shipping via Pilot at no extra charge. They unboxed it, put the feet on, put it where I wanted it, plugged it in, and made sure it powered on. They offered to take the box away, but I kept it. This was part of the service, not just because I tipped them.

Notwithstanding what it says below, it's still alive. Verify on the final checkout screen with the link under credit card payment method. Clicking that link will verify that this is correct, and will show the 75R617 under the wording that says extra 10% in rewards (which is 15% total). If you are still nervous about it, I would suggest that you take a screenshot before placing the order.

Not correct --> The 15% Offer only covers the 65". It does not list the 55" or the 75" as eligible.
I purchased the 55R617 from Amazon on 6-18-19 for $499.99, my order details on checkout showed it would receive the additional 10% cash back. I just checked my Chase account today, and the charge details show the 5% cash back plus the additional 10% cash back for a total of $75 cash back. See attached sanitized screenshots matching Amazon order to chase charge and cash back.

I spoke with 2 Amazon agents (one via chat and one via phone) and both independently confirmed the 15% cash back ONLY applies to the 65". The 55" and 75" will only get the standard 5% if purchased with Prime credit card.
Unfortunately Amazon CS agents are not always correct. See above comment and attached screenshots.

Correct. You pay the listed price with the Amazon Prime Visa, then get 15% back in points, which can be redeemed after your next statement for a statement credit, or spent on Amazon (I would suggest the statement credit, that way you also still get the 5% on your future Amazon purchases). Once you consider the statement credit (which is basically like cash) the effective price is $1190.
Is this after applying for/being accepted by the Amazon Prime Visa?

Read the comments-it's not 15% off, it's 15% back after purchase in points.

Serious question! I have a Samsung plasma from 2010 that has a great picture obviously it is not 4K it is 1080P and 3d (for all the good that did) but honestly has a fantastic image. that being said I'm wondering about upgrading from a 56" to a 75" and how that would impact my viewing. Would you say that this TV when compared to the plasma I have currently would be better? Plasma has a great image but it is a TV that is at this point about 9 years old.
So, I hear this question a lot from my AV clients. My advice is that unless you really want the bigger screen size, or stream a significant amount of content off of Amazon Prime or Netflix that is available in 4K, ride the plasma train until you can't find parts to repair it anymore. Especially if it's a Panasonic. Those were the gold standard of plasma technology.

Having owned a Panasonic VT60 in the past and currently owning Samsung's last plasma they made, the F8500, personally the jump in size is worth the trade off for black levels and contrast.

I own projector with 125" screen and while the contrast can't touch the plasma, the size and immersion just makes up for it.

I also own a Hisense full array backlit TV and I must say, I have no problem with pictures quality in a dark room with it. Actually looks really good and this is coming from someone who would not touch an LCD TV when plasmas where still being made.

If you are not watching in a dark room, you can be even less picky with LCD TVs. It's really in dark room viewing where LCDs can fall apart if the are not full array or have good local dimming.

Of course off angle viewing is another thing to consider and how far off angle you will be watching from which will dictate if you must have an IPS screen for a trade off of black levels.

It works if you already have the Amazon Prime Visa. If you apply for one, I think it should work also as long as you are approved, since the 15% is for all Amazon Prime Visa holders.

Thanks for the input... I was thinking similar but wasnt sure, and wondered if anyone had advice. Thanks for the input. I guess because plasma just looked so damn good, my only step up is OLED at this point...

Also wondering if they approved the price match. If so, can you please tell me that the process is to have them match?

It says 5% for me and then when you select that option at checkout it says additional reward available and mentions the 10%. My question is, can you use the 18 months 0% APR option and get the 15% back? It doesn't mention any amount back when I click the 18 months 0% APR option or 18 months equal payments option.

R617 has the preferred remote which has voice control
So they're the exact same tv but just different remotes? Just wanted to make sure I understood correctly.

That is correct. The R615 is exactly the same TV but with a cheaper IR only remote, and without the voice control. Might as well get the R617, especially when it's cheaper.

No you can either get the 15% or the 18 months zero percent apr. not both.

Yeah. I have 2 trains of thought on that. When I went to buy my 55R615, they gave me the same lines. I believe that they are told to push the TV's that spend a lot of money for the "displays". They really like to push the Sony, Samsung, and LG OLEDS.
I'm sooooo happy with my TCL 6 series. And, I'm quite the A/V geek.
