Amazon has the 75" TCL R6 for $1399.99 before 15% back on Prime Visa. This comes out to about $1190 plus tax on the $1399.99. Lowest price ever on this TV, and about $100 better than Best Buy. Shipping is, of course, free for Prime members.

Incidentally, shipping on my 65" R6 bought from Amazon was Enhanced Shipping via Pilot at no extra charge. They unboxed it, put the feet on, put it where I wanted it, plugged it in, and made sure it powered on. They offered to take the box away, but I kept it. This was part of the service, not just because I tipped them.

Notwithstanding what it says below, it's still alive. Verify on the final checkout screen with the link under credit card payment method. Clicking that link will verify that this is correct, and will show the 75R617 under the wording that says extra 10% in rewards (which is 15% total). If you are still nervous about it, I would suggest that you take a screenshot before placing the order.

Not correct --> The 15% Offer only covers the 65". It does not list the 55" or the 75" as eligible.
I purchased the 55R617 from Amazon on 6-18-19 for $499.99, my order details on checkout showed it would receive the additional 10% cash back. I just checked my Chase account today, and the charge details show the 5% cash back plus the additional 10% cash back for a total of $75 cash back. See attached sanitized screenshots matching Amazon order to chase charge and cash back.

https://www.amazon.com/l/17985366...4ZPY8U2GRG

I spoke with 2 Amazon agents (one via chat and one via phone) and both independently confirmed the 15% cash back ONLY applies to the 65". The 55" and 75" will only get the standard 5% if purchased with Prime credit card.
Unfortunately Amazon CS agents are not always correct. See above comment and attached screenshots.

Best Buy guys keep telling me to stay away from TCL, they just use crappy parts
I was at Best Buy on Saturday. The TV salesman (with a Samsung badge on his uniform) there was very complementary of the TCL. He said that while he prefers the picture on the Samsung, which costs $300 more, he said that you get more with this TV. Dolby Vision is the one thing that Samsung is missing. He said that he has not seen many returns on the TCLs.

So, I hear this question a lot from my AV clients. My advice is that unless you really want the bigger screen size, or stream a significant amount of content off of Amazon Prime or Netflix that is available in 4K, ride the plasma train until you can't find parts to repair it anymore. Especially if it's a Panasonic. Those were the gold standard of plasma technology.
Agree 100%. I still have a 60" plasma in a guest room that gets mostly cable use when we have visitors. All still impressed with the picture even though it's just 1080. I did move that out of my master BR, which now has a 65" TCL for over a year with 0 problems. Probably going to consider TCL's newer line when they come out for my main TV area, but I'd be happy with any of the others for other rooms.

I'm not seeing the 75 inch model in the Detail page of the offer. It's only 65 inch model. (Link Here [amazon.com])

Serious question! I have a Samsung plasma from 2010 that has a great picture obviously it is not 4K it is 1080P and 3d (for all the good that did) but honestly has a fantastic image. that being said I'm wondering about upgrading from a 56" to a 75" and how that would impact my viewing. Would you say that this TV when compared to the plasma I have currently would be better? Plasma has a great image but it is a TV that is at this point about 9 years old.
I had an old 50" plasma which also had a great picture and I was reluctant to let it go. Last November I went with a Vizio P75 and now I can't imagine going back to my dinky 50". The 75" is a great size and the picture is great too. Last month I got in on the 49" TCL for $175 from Target and we have it in the bedroom. The TCL has an excellent picture so if this 75"TCL has a decent review then I would jump on it. You wont regret the size increase, IMO. Would love to have an 85" or 100" if they made them.

I'm emailing promotions dept right now. I think it may be because I'm not the primary prime account holder.

Checked on three other people who are primary account holders, 2 of them that already had prime credit cards. All three off them the promotion shows up for.

So I traded out my 7 year old 50" Panasonic plasma for a 70" Vizio E series last fall (this tcl is better than my Vizio), so here is my take. I can tell you that having the bigger screen is really nice. But watching cable on it looks meh at best, when it looked great on the plasma. 4K content looks excellent on the new tv but anything else looked better on the old plasma. I'm constantly fiddling with my settings to raise the brightness during the day and turning it down at night. My plasma seemed fine without Messing with the settings.

Motion is crap on my tv compared to the plasma, maybe this tcl is a 120hz screen (my Vizio is 60hz). This doesn't really bother me except when scrolling through the Netflix interface.

And the new TVs have abysmal sound. Your old plasma probably sounds way better than anything made today so factor in a sound bar or something.

I should have spent the extra money on this tv in hind sight and maybe it would be closer in picture to my old panny.
