Especially since this is the model with an SSD instead of the crappy eMMC (slow, and slows more with use) storage in the 64GB model.

To be clear, you're mostly paying for the form factor here. You can get a better-specced laptop for about the same or even a little less. But if you want a Surface Go as a complete package (meaning, with keyboard included), I guess this is a good deal.

I bought Surface Pro 6 for ,$630,without any tax collection.
Of course the keyboard is not including...

But compared with this, that was a great deal, isn't it?

Specs? I bought the i5 256GB SP4 and it's my main computer. I only use my high spec'd dell xps 9550 a couple times a week because the SP4 is so great. Only issue with it is when I'm photo editing on the road and processing 1300 pictures, the battery runs out in 2hrs.

I'm debating selling my xps 9550. The only reason I haven't is because the battery life is so good. I configured it with the FHD screen and 84whr battery.

So you understand processors, like at all? This beats a 5th gen i5. Which was the staple for a crap ton of laptops.

Brands Mart in South Florida was blowing out the 4mb/64gb surface go for $199 B&M only. Of course they tried to sell me an extended warranty and tried to tell me it wasn't in stock and then magically found one in the back. It was to commemorate the opening of the new store in Dania point. Picked one up for my daughter for $199 what the heck.

So far it seems to be working good she plays her games on it and can access Google classroom through Google Chrome and surf the web with no issues. I know it's under powered but it seems like it could be a very useful alternative to a more expensive tablet. I picked up a keyboard for Amazon for $60

"The Intel Pentium 4415Y is a low power entry level processor for small laptops or tablets and based on the Kaby Lake architecture." note the entry level. also idk what benchmark are you looking because on everything i see a core i5 5200u is better, i can only see this as better than an i5 on battery life which i can understand the need for this.

I have this and this is what I take for personal travel. I don't take the proprietary charger since I can charge from my usb type-c charger. It's light and small and perfect for travel. Performance isn't great but hey, if 95% of what you do is browse the web, this is perfect. Also you can use google docs for "Office" related work.

I've been looking to upgrade from the handy but also slow-af Surface 3 for years, and this seems to be the only straight upgrade available, at least from MS. However, according to Consumer Reports, this model is still noticeably slow, even though some pro-MS sites say otherwise. I'm still debating.

I love the Go. I have one and use it for work (taking notes, excels, web browsing, etc). Highly anticipating the Go 2, but no word on that yet as far as I know.

Is the screen somewhat as good as an iPad Pro, and could any artists that have used both chime in on which you like better, Thanks in advance
