I ordered one of these before I even saw this deal here. The distinctive thing is that it does a good job on outgoing voice noise cancellation, supposedly, which means it is better than the vast majority of noise canceling headsets for phone calls, and maybe (all depending on things like mode transition latency) Voice Command and voice dictation.

If this deal is still around when I get mine, I will let people know.

I use the evolve version of these (business edition that has a few extra features - largely identical). The microphone performs really well in noisy environments, so if you're looking for top level call quality, that is a good reason to buy them. Otherwise, the sound quality for music, noise cancelling performance, and battery life is just so-so.

The conventional wisdom on these seems quite right.

In my experiments, the noise cancelling for these is indeed mediocre, not being as good even as the low end (but still impressive and a fantastic value) Taotronics TT-BH22. Definitively much better than nothing, but not impressive. Battery life is also a bit short (8 hours, nominally).

The voice-output quality is much better than with any other noise cancelling headphones I have used, however.

At my local typically loud but not super-busy coffee shop, I had success even whispering voice commands and dictation to my iPhone XR — not perfect results, but very, very impressive compared to alternatives. Also, the mode transition delay was very small—using voice command or dictation was not instant but much quicker than other music-oriented Bluetooth headsets I've tried. Nice.

The Bose 700 promises noise cancellation on par with the Sony WH-1000XM3 and call quality probably similar to the Jabra at a price of $400 (ouch). Despite the Jabra's lower quality ANC and sound, it may have a place (noisy areas where you want to use your voice) just because of its much lower price.

Most everything else beats it for ANC, but it beats everything else for voice calls, commands, or dictation, Bose 700 excepted.

Horrible active noise cancellation! I doubt it's just my pair.

Mine came in. I think it's worth noting that many of the reviews you read are based on the $199 original msrp. At $40 these are a no brainier. Yeah ANC isn't up to par when comparing to headphones in the $250-300 range. Also making sure you have a good fit dictates how well the ANC performs. What else can you get in this price range that sound as well as these do? Not sure.

Either way I'm really happy with my purchase.

Looks like the price was dropped to $29.99. Decided to pick one up and give it a try.

Came in. I like them. I bought at $39.99 a day before the price drop and Jabra refunded me $10, to boot. As for features:

- the ANC is decent and removes low frequency appliance noises, obviously not Bose QC35 quality
- audio pass-through function on phone calls functions fine, is not useful to me, but perhaps others may care
- the delay between pressing the Siri/assistant button and hearing the prompt to speak is noticeably shorter than other BT headphones in this category that I own - or have bought and returned. this is important to me

If they last (I think there's a 90d warranty) for $30 these are a no brainer.

Edit: fiddle with the tips + the ear "wings", my ears hurt until I got that dialed in.
