What an awesome deal. We just went for Memorial Day and paid $43 for just one day. We took our 3 and 5 year old and they loved it! Sesame Place is a great addition. They have this food and wine festival where you can experience different dishes from different places around the world for about $5 or 6 per plate. I know it adds up but it was nice to not have to resign in eating the same old chicken tenders or cheeseburgers. It's also great because it's small portions so you are not walking around all stuffed especially when getting on rides. The park was very clean, minimal lines and so many things to do for all ages. I'm normally super cheap with parking but since I was with 2 senior citizens and 2 toddlers we opted for the $25 and it was totally worth it. We were right next to the park entrance and after my Iwatch calculated we had walked almost 6 miles it was nice to be so close to the car. I'm super tempted to purchase as I'm sure the kids would love the waterpark as well.

Most beautiful theme park in the USA. Great food also. I miss Big Bad Wolf.
Big bad wolf was the best. Shame they lost her.

I've been to HP few times and I think we had enough, we need somewhere that's a bit nicer and not nearly as spread out. It takes you forever to walk from one end of the other, and HP is not designed properly, it has hills, and you have to walk all the way back to exit, not a circular design which is one of the worst things for HP. Food is not that good, very limited and overpriced but they let you take food from outside as long as no hard containers or glass bottles.

Thanks, HP needs to do a lot of work on their lines and overall cleanliness, it needs a good scrubbing and a good overhaul in older rides, it just looks dingy in some areas, other, like water park area is nice, but again it's not as clean as I'd expect. It's super cheap I guess that's what they got going for them. Hotels are not that cheap in the area though which ruins the experience.

Thanks.
A few years ago we had a 6 flags pass and went to every park they have around the US. We also have been to Disney, Busch Gardens, Kings Island, Cedar Point, etc.

We decided to go to Hersheypark last year for my daughter's birthday. Hands down the worst park we have ever visited. The place could be nice, but it seems the people who go there are just trashy. When we were there we saw food and trash thrown all over the place (we're talking major trash everywhere in the park and the parking lot), people being visibly rude to one another, the swimming areas extremely overcrowded so you couldn't enjoy any of it. I guess for those people it's the only park like that around for miles so that's all they have. We did not enjoy it that much.

I was never so glad to come back home and go to Holiday World afterwards. Huge water park almost all to ourselves and clean, clean, clean. They state they have been voted the cleanest park in the US. I still remember that day laying out by the pool and listening to The Beatles all afternoon.

I would avoid Hersheypark.

I think the summer bounce pass is a better deal. Valid May 17 – Sept 8, 2019. Includes unlimited admission to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens Williamsburg®, Water Country USA® for seven (7) consecutive days. Parking included at each site. Adults at 145.99 and kids 6 to 12 are 120.99 and kids under 5 and under are free to all 3 parks. I ended up buying the tickets from the best Western plus historic area for about 98 bucks for kids and adult tickets.

I actually prefer Six Flags in NJ to Hershey Park as far as rides go. You can avoid having a terrible day as long as you go on a weekday at least and absolutely get there an hour before park opening. Six flags tends to do a bad job staffing the gates so the bottleneck with help you in the early part of the day. Just make sure to search for discount tix. The one in Maryland is terrible and not worth a trip.

Longwood gardens is worth a stop especially if you can hit one of the fireworks shows. The 90 million dollar fountains are amazing.

Kings Dominion is also a really good park and the easiest to combo with BGW.
You just gave me few great ideas for this summer. We usually drive down or up, this year we plan to drive down, we generally stay at hotel near chesapeake bay, spend a few days keep driving down, and then when we are done we drive back up overnight. These suggestions will be awesome. Thanks again.

Sadly your observations are correct if you go on a busy season. We went off-season, and it was great, which made us go back there 2nd and 3rd time but sadly 2nd time we got rained out and 3rd time we had to go back and use our ticket and it was a really bad experience around July 4th last year. After that we decided we are not going back.

I don't see a Holiday World near north east? Seeing one in Kentucky.
