Amazon.com has Bessey Tools 37" Clutch Bar Clamp (GSCC2.536) on sale for $8.99. Shipping is free with Prime or if you spend $25 or more.
Not the strongest, but unbeatable for the price. And it is 36", not 24".

I have 6 of the Bessey clamps in this post and 6 of the clamps from your link.
These are not the same quality...at all. I needed additional clamps for a project one time and I really didn't want to fork over the cash at home depot, so I swung by harbor freight and bought some of theirs.
Harbor Freight differences/cons:
1. The tapped threads in the clamp are not as tight of a fit, so they wobble and have more slop when tightening (They will probably wear out faster due to this as well).
2. The beam (backbone of the whole tool) is more malleable/springy than the bessey's. This has a two fold effect of making it more laborious to tighten due to the bar itself compressing vs the wood and makes overlapping clamps harder than it needs to be because it's bowing into the set behind it.
3. The pads to protect your project are thinner, don't hold on as well, and are generally inferior.

Don't get me wrong though, I still have them because they are helpful in a pinch and they're cheap. I just won't be buying anymore if I can help it.

Thanks, didn't get these last time as I was waiting for Amazon to match Walmart and they never did. Now that they have I'm in for 2.

I'm trying to transition to getting more ratcheting clamps. These are great and all, but the one handed adjustment on ratcheting clamps makes me a much happier person.

The 6"-12" clamps are great. Some of their other items are as good as or better than the name brands - tool chests, floor jacks, wood lathes to name a few. I'm not saying all of there stuff is great because a lot of the stuff is still crap. If you take your time and research what you need, you can find the gems at HF.

The reviews for the 36" clamps at HF are "good" but they do seem a bit flimsy in person. I had purchased the same Bessey clamps a while ago and they are much more stout than the HF ones.

I bought 3 from Wal-mart, all they said was left and wanted to take advantage of cash back, and 4 from Amazon. This will give me a dozen of these clamps. You can never have too many clamps.

Yes, harborfreight has disposable tools for the most part.

Wal-mart deal looks dead to me.

I have two of these 36 inch clamps. They are ok. The beam that supports the clamp definitely deflects quite a bit during use. The 12 and 6 bessey clamps I have are more secure. I wouldn't buy these again. I think the pipe clamps would work better at these lengths, though you will definitely pay more all in.
