This is the cheapest I have seen Samsung B-die modules. These will overclock extremely well and play nice with Ryzen CPUs/motherboards:

Also heads up, the 2 x 16gb sticks are the same price if you needed 32gb of ram at one time: $249 = 125 x 2

Also useful if you dont wanna populate all 4 slots right now

Was curious if that is the normal price now or a sale price? It doesn't say on sale and can't find a price tracker for newegg.

Yeah its probably closer to the regular price, but its pretty much equivalent to the deal on the 8gb sticks, so i would say its a deal. Not sure if you would find the 16gb sticks cheaper for now. But the way things are going, they may show up even cheaper. The trick is all of us being able to detect when ram prices will start going up again. And yes, they will. Just a matter of when

Depends on your motherboard ram slot configs - some people will get better overclocks on 4x8 others 2x16. Also, Samsung has quit manufacturing B-die ram. If you want B-die module, purchase them soon.

It's hard to say. The new 570 chipset and ryzen generations are slotted to run by default at 3200. Most motherboards are boasting much higher OC speeds.

Gskill has neo ram sticks they showcased at computex with faster speeds and designed for new launch on July 7th, BUT pricing and availability is unknown.

Pricing will be high for anything Ryzen related as companies look to cash in on the new launch. However, anything beyond 3733 ram is a waste for Ryzen 3000 as this is the highest clock for the infinity fabric. Your best bet is to find the lowest timing ram at this speed.

I bought Patriot Viper Steel 4000MHz RAM for $130 the other day. It's B Die and I figured I'd have the guaranteed tested higher frequency for when the Ryzen 3000 series is released. Right now I have it running at 3466MHz 15-15-15-35-1T on a 1700.
