Netflix on us TMobile monthly charge of $2.00 Starting in July

I had been paying for Netflix for a few years prior to Tmobile running this promotion so I will continue to have same plan and cover the extra $2.00 but if you do not want to eat the extra $24.00 per year you will want to make changes to your Netflix on us account before they start hitting your bill with extra charges in July.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Beginning July 5, 2019, customers on qualifying T-Mobile ONE voice plans who have or redeem a Netflix Standard 2-screen subscription will see a $2 charge per month on their bill. T-Mobile ONE customers with a Premium subscription will see a $5 charge. Impacted customers will receive an SMS starting June 5, notifying them of the change. T-Mobile One w/One Plus Family customers will continue to receive the Standard 2-screen subscription for no additional cost and the Premium subscription for $3.

Sucks but many of these perks may get completely axed if the merger with sprint goes thru.
With less competition there will be no need for to offer extra perks/benefits.

Does sprint still offers Hulu for free . I wonder what will happen if the merger will go through.

It's surprising that Tmobile is passing the Netflix price increase thru to customers. I wonder if you call and get a offset credit, how successful will it be based on marketing "on us" words.

Cause Tmobile hasn't been uncarrier in a long time.

We still have it. Not sure if they are offering it for new customers or not. It's the "limited commercial" plan though, which kind of sucks. Wish there was a way to get no commercials and pay like $4 a month or something.

If Netflix increases prices then tmobile has no option so i would not blame tmobile for it.

Thanks for the heads up. Is $10/month the standard Netflix price? If so, at $2/mo, it's still an $8 discount right?

The normal price is now $12.00 per month as of last January, Tmo and Netflix worked out a deal to not raise that rate to tmobile customers for 5-6 months. That deal is over and new charge starts July 5th.

Tmobile is still covering the $10.00 per month and you will pay the other $2.00 each month. Still a good deal me most people like me.

Seriously, people threatening to cancel for an extra $2 charge on a formerly free perk.
$2 a month is a raindrop in a typical budget. I make that up 10x over from TMobile Tuesday perks and the 20% I save over other carriers.
