When clicking on the link, it shows $14.99, but when you go through the check out process, it came up $6.74. Not sure how long the sale last.

It wasn't considered a good game back then, either. Just "controversial".
It's funny how memory works, I kind of forgot this until you mentioned it. I don't recall anyone claiming to enjoy the game, but it was well known because it would make news headlines for the controversy. Nobody thought tit was good, but many probably remember it anyway.

Was hoping to get in with a Double Switch reference, but was beat. Holding out for Slam City with Scottie Pippen.

Does this play like Double Switch?

Had CD but never touched this one.

Yeah, pretty sad how something can sell because it was so terrible.
Well they haven't re-released E.T. from the Atari 2600...yet.

I asked my parents if I could buy this when it came out and they told me no. I asked them again if I could buy this when I saw it on Slickdeals and they again told me no. :-(

I'd get this game for the lulz if it were a buck or two. This price is ludicrous. Launching at $15 lmao get your head out of your arses.

I took my High School graduation money and bought a Sega CD, and a bunch of games for less than $150. This was Summer of 95.

I enjoyed it. Plus, every game had a B or C level Hollywood actor in it., so there was a familiarity about them.

Night Trap was one of the games that I bought, solely on the outcry by the media. Not one nipple in the game dammit Smilie. But, it was only like $6 at Funcoland

P.S. if you're ad about Dana Plato, just think about poor Gary Coleman. his wife murdered his ass.

I dunno, funny that this game was so controversial back in the day, and at the time Nintendo was the most "family friendly" gaming company with very strict guidelines for what could be released on their gaming systems. Now it's released on the Switch -- how times have changed.

This game was the entire reason I originally bought a SegaCD over a SNES. If course the idea and controversy over the game is way more interesting than playing the game. Fascinating that Nintendo is totally cool selling it now!

Met the guy who ported this to all the modern consoles. Pretty interesting stories surrounding the rights owners and whatnot. Nothing crazy or anything, just fun to hear about how it all works in the background.
