How do you open the lock if the electronics fail or batteries are dead? Is there a manual way to open?

You can attach a 9v battery at the bottom of the lock to power it temporarily.

It has prongs for a 9v battery at the bottom on the outside. If the electronics fail completely then you use the internal lock throw.

In the case of batteries dying, there are two spots on the front to hold a 9V battery to to get it to work. In the case of electronic failure you're out of luck though.

There is a point in not having a key - key-less lock can't be picked.

haha. A neighbor, last week gone for camping, when his house was raided by youngsters coming out of nowhere (Social media people) having fun at his pool side, when police call him to come and have look at house, only because he had one of these locks installed. Though possibly his children have talked of the combination with a wrong friend or might have carelessly let a friend look over shoulder, but this is what you secure you home with....
Filtering through your gibberish, what I gathered, someone gave the combo and got nto the house.

is there a way to disable the pin numbers if you are out of the house for a few days or do you have to delete all the pin numbers, being the only way to deactivate the lock? also, is there a setting that allows it to auto-lock if it has been left unlocked for a period of time? thanks.
