Amazon [amazon.com] has the Dorman 743-100 Rivet Gun for $12.62 shipped free w/ Prime.

Walmart [walmart.com] seems to have matched price of $12.62 - $0.32 pickup discount = $12.30

At it's lowest price as of June 8th according to CCC. Useful for 1/4" rivets when replacing door handles and window regulators in vehicles.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Paid almost twice this 2 years ago. Got it just to do 1/4" rivets. Works well, good price. Having a right angle head one in addition to this is not a bad idea, this one is not great for getting into tight spots.

In for one, although I really wish it could also handle threaded nut rivets.

Also, it looks like Amazon is testing out a discount for No Rush orders (as opposed to $1 digital, etc), the same way Walmart offers pickup discounts. In fact the discount was exactly the same, $0.32.

Similar if not same one available at harbor freight for $19.99 regular price ( not taking regular discount coupon of freebie coupons into account) but comes.with assortment of different rivet sizes.

Had mine.for years. put a lot of 1/4 " rivets thru it no problem. Just keep parts lubed...

Yes, this will work for riveting pad eyes to a kayak. Go for triple grip rivets and use some silicone in the pilot hole if you are worried about water leaking into the hull.

Not bad, had to repair some custom aluminum shutters an architect had made ~10 years prior that required 1/4" rivets.

He went out to the local fastenal and came back with a "big daddy riveter" that handled 1/4" rivets but paid nearly $200 for it... I put 10 rivets in with it and there it sits on a shelf... This is a case where the HF. or other cheap equivalent makes sense for most people's uses.
