I think I need to swing by and pick this up for my 2nd 4K movie (first one is Hacksaw Ridge, happened to be on sale after I bought the TV). Loved this movie, and I have a feeling that it'll be even better at 4K with my sound system.

took me 4 attempts to watch the movie... fell asleep every time.
and i absolutely love the original, this one was just soooo drawn out and boring.
These crazy movies! I tiried at least twice to watch the first and just couldn't get into it. Then the new one came out in 4K with the awesome picture and fantastic sound design. I loved it!

Went back to watch the first one and immediately watched it again! Love em both. But wow, they are divisive!

If you have trouble focusing on this movie, it simply isn't for you. Nothing wrong with that. Stop questioning it or yourself.

So.. after much confusion..i got a manager to open the 4k packaging to verify the movie did in fact had a digital copy. It did not advertise on the cover that it did.

It turned out it did have a digital code.

It went from Movies anywhere.. to Vudu in UHD.. to google play in 4k, and apparently on HD in amazon (amazon does not appear to offer the movie in UHD at this time.)

I have this in Blu-ray with Atmos. The sound is amazing. I have a epson 5040UB pseudo 4K projector with HDR. Does the 4K version of the movie make a difference especially since the movie is mostly gray?
That's exactly the type of info I came to this thread to look for. I thought this movie was just OK, but think that it might look and sound amazing... I just put in a 9.2 system with a projector, and I am trying to find some good movies to show it off from a technical standpoint. Gotta somehow justify the purchase to my better half.

Thank you! I was wondering the same thing. I didn't buy it because it didn't say digital.

It's alright. The first Blade Runner is way better.

your relationship has problems if you have to justify a $15 movie to your better half. especially if you already splurged on a big ass projector and atmos 9.1

He is saying that he wants to justify the $$$ projector and sound system, not the movie. Pretty obvious.

Yes its exactly the type of movie to show off audio/video. Most videophiles hold it in high praise. It was filmed in 3.4K (and 3.4K visual effects), much higher than marvel releases for example. Most films even if they film close to 4K downgrade the quality because their special effects are usually in 2K.

VUDU streams on UHD HDR and Google play in 4K? - What's the difference?

By the way the Target Deal comes with the code inside even tho it does not note in the casing about it. Only on the sleeve
